12" diameter round shield provides an additional layer of protection against particle spray.
Cleanable with bleach or hydrogen peroxide based cleaners.
Comes in a set of three. These shields can either be swapped out between patients or cleaned and left on.
The Zeiss PROergo is friction fit over the objective lens. For the Global model you unscrew the objective lens and place the threads of the lens through the center of the shield and screw the objective lens back into the microscope.
With most microscope set ups the shield should not interfere with all normal procedures except for more difficulty reaching the manual focus on the PROergo.
